Master GOATMMO's combat mechanics for maximum effectiveness!

⚔️ Basic Combat

Attack Types

Physical Attack:

  • Melee or ranged

  • Based on STR/DEX + weapon ATK

  • Affected by enemy DEF

  • Can miss based on HIT vs FLEE

Magic Attack:

  • Spell-based damage

  • Based on INT + MATK

  • Affected by enemy MDEF

  • Cannot miss (except specific skills)

Damage Formula (Simplified)

Physical Damage:

Damage = (ATK - DEF) × modifiers

Magic Damage:

Modifiers include: element, race, size, cards, skills

🎯 Accuracy & Evasion

HIT (Accuracy)

Affects: Chance to hit enemy

Calculation:

  • Base HIT = Base Level + DEX + bonuses

  • Need 95% hit rate for reliable damage

  • Check monster FLEE to determine needed HIT

FLEE (Evasion)

Affects: Chance to evade attacks

Calculation:

  • FLEE = Base Level + AGI + bonuses

  • Perfect Dodge (separate, from LUK)

⚡ Attack Speed (ASPD)

Factors:

  • AGI stat

  • Weapon type

  • DEX (minor effect)

  • Skills/buffs

ASPD Cap: 190 (maximum attack speed)

Importance: More hits = more damage (for physical)

🔥 Elements & Properties

Element System

Advantage Chain:

  • Fire > Earth, Undead

  • Water > Fire

  • Earth > Wind

  • Wind > Water

  • Holy > Shadow, Undead

  • Shadow > Holy

Element Levels: 1-4 (higher = stronger effect)

Elemental Damage: 25% to 200% damage modifier

Size Properties

Monster Sizes:

  • Small, Medium, Large

Weapon Types Have Size Modifiers:

  • Swords: 75%/100%/75% (S/M/L)

  • Spears: 75%/75%/100%

  • Etc.

🛡️ Defense Systems

Hard DEF

  • Reduces damage by flat amount

  • From equipment and VIT

Soft DEF

  • Reduces damage by percentage

  • From VIT stat

MDEF (Magic Defense)

  • Works similarly to DEF

  • From INT and equipment

💥 Critical Hits

Critical Attack:

  • Ignores enemy DEF

  • Always hits (100%)

  • Damage = 140% normal damage

  • Based on LUK and items

Critical Rate:

  • Base CRIT = LUK × 0.3 + bonuses

  • Cap: ~100% critical rate possible

🎯 Combo Systems

Skill Chains

  • Some skills combo into others

  • Monk class has combo system

  • Rogue can copy skills

Timing

  • Cast time

  • After-cast delay

  • Skill cooldowns

⚠️ Status Effects

Negative Status:

  • Frozen, Stun, Silence, Blind

  • Poison, Curse, Stone, Sleep

  • Resist with VIT, LUK, equipment

Buffs:

  • Blessing, AGI Up, etc.

  • From skills and items

  • Stackable effects
