🎯 Skill System Overview

Skill Types

Active Skills

  • Require manual activation

  • Consume SP (Skill Points)

  • Have casting time and cooldown

  • Examples: Fire Bolt, Heal, Bash

Passive Skills

  • Always active once learned

  • No SP cost

  • Permanent bonuses

  • Examples: Increase HP Recovery, Sword Mastery

Toggle Skills

  • Can be turned on/off

  • Some consume SP while active

  • Examples: Concentration, Hiding

Skill Mechanics

Cast Time

  • Variable Cast Time: Reducible by DEX

  • Fixed Cast Time: Cannot be reduced

  • After Cast Delay: Cooldown before next skill

Skill Level

  • Most skills have 5-10 levels

  • Higher level = more damage/effect

  • Requires skill points to upgrade

Skill Points

  • Gained each Job Level

  • Limited points - choose wisely!

  • Cannot be reset easily

Equipment Types

Weapons

  • One-Handed: Can use with shield

Monster Levels

Color Coding (when highlighting monsters):

  • Green: Much lower level (easy)

  • White: Similar level (normal)

  • Yellow: Slightly higher (caution)

  • Orange: Higher level (dangerous)

  • Red: Much higher level (very dangerous)

Elite Monsters

MVP Bosses

  • Strongest monsters in the game

  • Spawn at specific intervals

  • Drop rare equipment and cards

  • Require parties to defeat

  • Give MVP rewards to top contributor

Mini-Bosses

  • Stronger than normal monsters

  • Spawn less frequently

  • Better drops and exp

  • Can be soloed at appropriate level

🎴 Card System

Card Basics

  • Cards drop from monsters (low chance)

  • Can be inserted into equipment slots

  • Provide powerful bonuses

  • Cannot be removed once slotted (destroyed on removal)

Weapon Cards

  • Increase damage

Armor Cards

  • Increase defense

Elemental Advantages

Race Modifiers

Demi-Human Monsters:

  • Use Demi-Human damage cards

  • Effective in PvP/WoE practice

Undead Monsters:

  • Weak to Holy and Fire

  • Healed by Shadow element

  • Common in dungeons

Brute/Insect:

  • Generally easier to hit

  • Balanced physical defense
